The summer editions of TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie 2022 have been successful. For example, TechniShow counted 16,700 visitors and ESEF Maakindustrie 11,300 visitors. The decision level of visitors was particularly high, with 46% indicating that they are final or co-decision makers in purchases made by the company they work for. This was also reflected in responses from exhibitors who made actual sales as early as the first few days. Notable in addition was the international interest in both trade shows. Visitors came from 48 other countries worldwide.

Because of corona, it took over four years for this important platform for the manufacturing industry to reopen its doors. The strength of the combination of TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie is that it brings 'make' and 'buy' under one roof. Over 200 exhibitors at TechniShow and 160 exhibitors at ESEF Maakindustrie showed how the manufacturing industry has continued to innovate in those years.

FPT-VIMAG, owner of TechniShow looks back on the positive atmosphere with satisfaction. André Gaalman, president FPT-VIMAG: 'TechniShow 2022 was a great reunion of exhibitors who were able to show the latest manufacturing technology to interested visitors. Finally!

Growing importance
TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie 2022 were opened by Peter Wennink (CEO ASML), Theo Henrar (chairman FME), André Gaalman (chairman FPT-VIMAG) and Jeroen van Hooff (CEO Koninklijke Jaarbeurs Utrecht). They discussed the growing economic importance of the manufacturing industry. The manufacturing industry contributes 18% annually to the Dutch economy and has shown double-digit growth in recent years. In terms of economic importance, the sector is now comparable to the chemical and food industries.

Spring 2022
TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie together form the largest platform in the Benelux in the field of industrial production technology, processing and treatment of metals, plastics, accessories and tools. This is the stage where business, research, education and government meet, for demonstrations, innovations and networking moments. The next editions will take place in the spring of 2024 again at the Royal Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
