Utrecht, March 7, 2024 - From Tuesday, March 12 to Friday, March 15, Royal Jaarbeurs will open its doors for TechniShow 2024. This trade show is all about innovation power with a focus on innovative, smart and sustainable solutions. With the theme "The Manufacturing Industry of Tomorrow," hundreds of exhibitors are packing big with machines and demonstrations to showcase their innovations, new techniques and solutions, Ricardo Vivas, TechniShow exhibition manager, said. "Visitors during the opening will get valuable insights about tomorrow's manufacturing industry both from the perspective of the industry, entrepreneurs and the financial world. We will also announce the most groundbreaking innovation in the manufacturing industry during the presentation of the TechniShow Innovation Award." TechniShow takes place simultaneously with the ESEF Maakindustrie trade fair.
Opening with renewed insights from leaders of the manufacturing industry
On Tuesday, March 12 is the official opening of TechniShow. Leading experts from various sectors will share their views on the future of the manufacturing industry. Eddo Cammeraat, chairman of trade association FPT-VIMAG, will open the doors together with Willem Wensing, Manager Partnerships FME and Mark Helder, chairman Koninklijke Metaalunie. Several entrepreneurs also share their vision. One of the well-known entrepreneurs on stage is Jan Aalberts, founder of Aalberts Industries. Ricardo Vivas: "Jan is a real coryfee in the market. At 84, Jan is still active in the manufacturing industry and inspires visitors with the fact that people really need to distinguish themselves in their presentation, their quality, their investments and where possible by being more international. We close the opening with a vision from the world of finance."
From knowledge sessions, demonstrations to award shows
TechniShow 2024 offers a wide and varied program. Visitors will enjoy numerous rotating demonstrations during the trade show, showing the latest technologies and machines in action. There are also several knowledge sessions on topics including the value of digital transformation for the manufacturing industry and the role of automation and data-driven decision-making. On Thursday, March 14, FPT-VIMAG will announce the winner of the TechniShow Innovation Award. Sixteen companies submitted an innovation for the Award. From this list, the jury chose three nominees: Clever Bending, BMO and Smart Factory. Eddo Cammeraat: "The manufacturing industry continues to grow thanks to the incredible flexibility of both large and small companies. They are the backbone of our industry, allowing us to continue to produce efficiently and affordably and to develop new innovations."
