Mechelen, Dec. 3, 2024 - An inspiring meeting was held at the beginning of December at FANUC Benelux B.V. in Mechelen. This session brought together leading Belgian parties to discuss how to further strengthen innovation, chain cooperation and the strength of the manufacturing industry in the Benelux.

The meeting focused on the future of the manufacturing industry, Together with leading Belgian parties, we discussed how TechniShow 2026 and our cooperation with FPT-VIMAG can contribute to innovation chain cooperation and strengthening the manufacturing industry in the Benelux.

Two crucial questions were the focus of the session:

  1. What trends and technologies are defining the future of the Belgian manufacturing industry, and how can they be integrated into TechniShow 2026?
  2. What can Jaarbeurs do to make Belgian companies and visitors more visible and engaged during TechniShow 2026?

Participants emphasized the importance of collaboration across the chain, from suppliers to producers. It was also stressed that innovative technologies - such as automation, robotics and digitization - play a crucial role in the future of the sector.
