About 75 exhibitors were present early this week at the Kick-Off meeting for TechniShow 2024 at the Utrecht Jaarbeurs. Three-quarters of the floor space was filled. According to exhibition manager Ricardo Vivas, this is a sign that TechniShow 2024, with the theme "The Manufacturing Industry of Tomorrow," remains the most important exhibition in the Benelux in the field of manufacturing technology.
In just over a hundred days, the doors of the Utrecht Jaarbeurs will open for TechniShow 2024. During the kick-off earlier this week, the fair organizers showed a small taste of what's in store.
There will be about 300 exhibitors at the fair. In addition, four so-called guided tours will be held. There will also be a Theme Square Production Automation, a Theme Square Additive Manufacturing, a career street, a start-up street and there will be student teams including a hydrogen racing car from Forze Hydrogyn, a project of TU Delft. Furthermore, the coveted TechniShow Awards will take place and a TechniShow Talks broadcast will be made live from the show floor.
"These and more activities make the TechniShow such a great event for the entire industry," says exhibition manager Ricardo Vivas. "And also, the show floor is steadily filling up with new exhibitors. Including reservations, more than three-quarters of the halls are now occupied. New exhibitors are registering every day. I therefore expect us to fill at least 20,000 square meters with all the innovations in mechanical engineering and production technology."
Experience
Existing exhibitors note that a "good vibe" is emerging around TechniShow 2024. For example, Gibas has increased the area of the stand they already had. Enrico Akkerman of Gibas: "We had 110 square meters, but in that area we can't show just enough of what we have to offer. We want visitors to have an interesting experience at our booth. There we show our robotization applications. Not of the future but of today, as we have been applying them for some time."
Gibas specializes in total solutions: they supply both machinery, tools, automation and robotic installation. They combine their knowledge in the various fields for a total solution. Earlier, Gibas was somewhat hesitant about participating in TechniShow 2024. So that attitude has disappeared. "We definitely hesitated about participating. It is not a cheap event and the character of trade shows is changing. Still, we decided we wanted to attend. Why? After all, TechniShow is for us a place where we can show our innovative solutions to a larger audience."
Easier
Oude Reimer, an exhibitor at TechniShow for decades, has also expanded the number of square meters it had reserved. Oude Reimer stands for "Making manufacturing easier. That means they have both a machine and product range, but also offer technical advice, their own service engineers, smart solutions for Industry 4.0, fully automated production processes, training courses, knowledge center and complete optimizations of new or existing production systems for the manufacturing industry.
Hugo Oude Reimer: "With Chiron, Star and Heller, for example, we have a number of CNC machines that really make a difference for the machining industry. We also see more and more demand for product cleaning, encapsulated in an automation solution. Our cleaning systems are certified to Grade 2 Vacuum Cleanliness specifications. We want to introduce visitors to as many solutions we offer as possible. And we needed more floor space for that."[button="url:https%3A%2F%2Fevents.jaarbeurs.nl%2Ftechnishow-2024%3F_gl%3D1*1588lvg*_ga*NDMyMDgxNzEyLjE2NjczMDg4Mzk.*_ga_S5XVCB5XHH*MTcwMzI3MjUxNy40MjUuMS4xNzAzMjczMzM2LjAuMC4w*_fplc*Tzh4NWtVbU5PZG5Nb3VrSUdLbFpNQmNJVnZGN3N0Yzd1eUJPVm9RWkQ4VjRQUkEwNnVodEVjNHZZMHA2VE9QZGViYnJEWnBzN0IzWUN4ajJ2UElLOFQlMkJ0dlVJbEQlMkYlMkZ5JTJGeGFLQW5EayUyQnBvOFJyR1BwT0lvcmZVM3JOQVZWZyUzRCUzRA..|title:Register%20you%20now||"]
