Can you briefly introduce yourself and your company?

I'm Kor Foekens, commercial director at Oxycom in Raalte. Oxycom produces innovative cooling systems for the manufacturing industry and distribution centers.

What is the innovation you are showing at the show, and what makes it unique?

We are showing our two-stage adiabatic cooling system, the IntrCooll. It is unique because it cools deeper and introduces less moisture compared to existing adiabatic cooling systems.

What market trends or challenges prompted this development?

It is getting warmer and warmer; where 30 degrees used to be special, today we reach 40 degrees in the Netherlands. As a result, there is an increasing need for cooling, but also for deeper cooling. With adiabatic cooling, moisture can become a problem. With our two-stage system, we have that under control, which makes it unique for this market.

How does your solution help improve processes or operations?

We provide a pleasant working environment for employees and ensure that machines can produce and function properly in their environment. In addition, we prevent fly rust, for example. All this is done in a sustainable way, with almost no energy consumption.

What can visitors expect when they stop by your booth?

Visitors can see the IntrCooll (the two-stage cooling system) in operation. They can feel and experience for themselves how it works and how the system is constructed. In addition, they can see the optimized control system and talk to our specialists about what we can do for them.

Why should visitors really not miss your stand?

Because this is a unique application ideally suited for the manufacturing industry. Every company needs cooling and a good climate for personnel. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get and keep staff, and we offer a great solution for this.

What is your vision for the future of the industry?

The industry is moving more and more toward 24/7. Personnel are becoming more educated and are needed to operate machines. Therefore, a good, healthy and sustainable working environment is essential to get and keep staff and to keep machines functioning optimally.
