LVD is presenting a real world first at the TechniShow: the Easy-Cell 80/25, an automated press brake cell. A larger variant of the Dyna-Cell and part of the Ulti-Form, the Easy-Cell is distinguished by its ability to manually change grippers, increasing flexibility.
LVD, a leader in press brake process automation, is expanding its range of robotic bending cells to address the growing shortage of skilled workers in the sheet metal industry. These cells can be quickly programmed offline, making them flexible, which makes them very interesting for Dutch suppliers with high mix low volume production.
The Easy-Cell, placed between the Dyna-Cell and Ulti-Form, is compact and equipped with an Easy-Form press brake 80/25 (80 ton capacity, 2500 mm working length). With a Kuka robot, manual gripper change, and repacking station, it offers flexibility for a variety of workpieces.
LVD expects the Easy-Cell to score high honors at the TechniShow Innovation Awards and is also participating in the Guided Tour Sheet Metal Processing with this first.
