Calipers and micrometers are classic measuring instruments that accurately measure outside dimensions, inside dimensions and depths. Andes Metrology has ergonomic digital calipers, calipers and also dial indicators with integrated Bluetooth®. What makes these measuring instruments so interesting? And how do we make them SMART or Industrie 4.0 ready?

The functions listed below are unique in this market combined in one product, without separate cables or transmitters:

- Integrated Bluetooth® on dial indicator, caliper or caliper etc.
- Easy wireless data transfer for e.g. SPC
- Large external reading when display is not directly readable
- External programming of various settings and functions
- Disable or hide unused functions
- Free app for Windows, iOS and Android
- Large display
- Freely programmable button
- Water-, cooling- and lubricant-resistant, degree of protection IP67 according to IEC 60529
- Energy-saving function (automatic sleep mode after 20 min.)
- Set to any position (Preset) This is saved even if the caliper is switched off (Absolute System SIS)
- Simple operation
- Display message when calibration date has expired

Calipers and micrometers are available in various standard versions. Special versions are also available on request, for example for measuring thread diameters, keyways, grooves, etc. Bowers' XT3 series of digital internal micrometers are a household name in the market. As are the S_Mike and S_Cal slide and screw gauges from the Swiss company Sylvac.

The built-in bluetooth technology allows us to directly communicate wirelessly with virtually any software. Think Polyworks, HighQA, Hexagon Q-DAS or Zeiss PiWeb. Even an Excel sheet can be completed immediately by these measuring instruments with wireless data transfer. Andes Meettechniek also sells its own software (Sylvac SYLCOM). In addition to wireless data collection and measurement planning, the software can also be used to block measuring instruments that are past their calibration deadline.
