22 technology companies, united within FPT, jointly present an integrated shopfloor in which two production lines and their suppliers work together. Machines, robots, software and craftsmen are connected in real time. Data flows through the entire chain and is used directly for planning, execution, quality assurance, maintenance and insight into material and energy use.
The Factory of the Future shows that it is not single technology, but chain integration that makes the difference. Smartly connecting existing machines and IT systems creates higher delivery reliability, shorter lead times, stable quality and less waste.
